I use my machine a lot.mainly plain designs. I tried a tuck pattern but the needles did not select properly. I have cleaned the machine thoroughly. Taken out all needles,Checked sponge bar but did not help. Would it be the belt that requires to be changed and if so how is that done. I have had the machine for a lot of years and belt has never broken. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

They are always willing to help by phone where possible but if your machine needed more attention than you could give you would have to take it to them. Sometimes they can do it on the same day by arrangment - they are very reasonably priced for the work they do.

It is the selector plates that need cleaning and to do that it means stripping the machine down, you need an engineer, try contacting Brother direct.
