my 14.4 v makita drill loses the grip on any drill bit ????? ?

ive got a 14.4v makita cordless drill and when i drill into brick or any type of wall it loses the grip on the actual drill bit itself any ideas on what is wrong with it?

You could have a worn out drill bit or the jaws on the chuck are worn out. Check them both out and replace them if needed.
