Tonight my boiler went bang and the knob on the top had blown off and steam and water was coming out. I have turned it off and cleaned up the mess. what could be wrong with it - could be a simple thing like pressure or something major??? I just had a huge gas bill so suspect it was not working efficiently
sounds like the auto air vent cap has blown ..it should be left loose so the air can escape .. when/if you fit a replacement be sure to leave it loose ...
