If you can't turn the stop motion because it is stuck this is what you need to do, get a wide blade screwdriver, hopefully you have a serated edge on the stop motion, take the screwdriver and put the blade in one of the edges on the left hand side as you are looking at the end of the machine, with a sharp thump on the handle of the screwdriver it should free the stop motion, if you do not have a serated edge on the stop motion wheel then you will need a large paid of mole grips and a strong man to hold the balance wheel tight and try and free off the wheel.
