My boiler won't fire up the central heating or hot water, the burner fires up for about 5 seconds and then stops and flashes red on the lock out display. I've tried resetting it and switching it off and on again at the mains but it still remains the same. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Bleed the air out its over heating and shutting down.
Halsteads shoud also be commissionsed with gas off the again with gas on.
Cheek the AAV it shuld be open to let air out.

there is a button underneath the boiler presst his to re-set the burner and it should be fine
