How can I fixh my washer/dryer - dryer will not dry hoover 1200?

Hoover model WDN1200 12000. Spins but will not dry

The problem is to do with the heater unit (element). the thermostats are shot and need to be replaced or you can by a new heater unit for about £20 and replace it with the new one.
