water freezes in the refrigerator section on the motor and forms huge chunks behind the drawers. it then leaks into the bottom of the fridge. the ice maker melts and forms icicles in the freezer. repair man has been out at least 3 times. changed the thermostat in both freezer and fridge. put in a new motor. and added something else the last time he was out. still the same problem we've had from the beginning. it is really a pain in the rear to have them come out because we have to take everything out and let the fridge part defrost so they can work on it. does anyone have any ideas to what could be wrong? Very aggravated!

What you say isn't to clear but I wonder if the drainage is blocked. When it defrosts where does the water go? Should be a tub on top of the compressor, a tube with some copper tubing through it OR a drain, check that the pipe leading to here is clear.

There is a lot more information needed to make an accurate diagnosis.
