Slow moving blades on jcb 24cc hedge trimmer?

Hi,
I have a jcb m24 petrol hedge trimmer. It has worked fine until this week. The motor starts fine and revs fine. When I open the throttle the engine revs as normal but the blades are very slow and is impossible t o cut with.
Thought maybe something jammed but seems ok.
Does anyone have any ideas please.

Thank you

Richard.

It has centifugal clutch failure - or a shear pin has sheared on the drive mechanism. Drop the cutter and sole plate from the bottom of the machine and see what you can find.
