My K3097M has low pressure and will not shut off unless I disconnect power?

My Karcher K3097M Elect. Pressure Washer will not come up to high pressure, and will not stop even when switch is turned off, need to unplug power to shut unit off? Any Help ??

if the spill valve is not working there will be no pressure, if there is no pressure the piston can not hit the micro switch to turn the machine off
