How can I find my wireless connection?

I shifted a few weeks back and since then my laptop states that it does not have the ability for a wireless connection, even though I had been using it on wireless since I bought it. My brother runs his laptop on wireless in the same house with no problem. My laptop is a Compaq Presario F500

Navigate via Cotrol Panel to Network Connections.

There should be a wireless icon - Right Click on it

Select View Available Wireless Networks (I can see four at home - one mine and three my neighbours)

Connect to the one belonging to your house.

The wireless device in your machine needs to be told which wireless network to connect to. You are not solving an Internet connection problem but a local network issue.

Good luck...
