My partner and i were bought a cafe series kettle when we first moved in together. The other day it stopped working but it short circuted all the plug sockets in the house. Does anyone know why this happened and can it be fixed? Does anyone know where i can get this done in Manchester?

Sorry, don't have an answer but exact same thing happened with my Breville Café Series last week, including tripping the sockets. Hadn't used it for 4 years which is probably why it lasted longer. So the pretty blue light works but no hot water. Also in Manchester...spooky!
