Glow-worm 80 F Fuel Saver is taking 20mins to spark up and ignite. ?

Boiler will not fire up when set on time, but after 20 mins if you give the boiler a knock it will spark and then ignite. The problem occurs also when the setting is on manuel. The boiler is a Glow-worm 80F Fuel Saver.
