daf 45 wont start?

the ignition lights are all and when i turn the key notthing happens there is two new batterys in it and everything else seems to work fine its a 1998 model all help appreciated

starter is on drivers side of engine. you will need to tilt cab -[make sure out of gear and h/brake on] using test light or meter ,locate small wire on starter solenoid usually held in with small screw ,put one end of test light to this and the other end to a good known earth,when key is turned to start position lamp should light -if so then your problem is starter motor-if not then wiring/relay or ign switch is at fault.DONT FORGET THAT LARGE LEAD ON STARTER MOTOR SOLENOID IS LIVE!also make sure that all wires are intact on alternator broken one could be affecting starter circuit.

where is the starter on these and how do u check there is a feed going is it with a bulb and earth the bulb?

have you checked that there is a feed going to small wire on starter when key is turned to start position [make sure handbrake on and out of gear when checking].
