My machine is showing error 5 and stopping in between loads and not spinning the clothes well. Can I repair it myself or pay Hoover £90 to fix the problem. The machine is 3 yrs old.
Found wire to Thermistor had been chaffing on the pully belt and had worn through giving the same problem ERROR code 5.
Joined the wires together again and taped back out of the way and Hey Presto all fixed.
