whats the best way to polish a carriage clock?
i have rebuilt quite a few brass carriage clocks old ones to new ones.. but im not happy with the finish i am getting on the cleaning of the brass..just wondered if there was any experts out there that can tell me the best way to clean the brass gears ect. do have an ultrasonic cleaner and have also tried quicksilver ect but still not happy with the finish..
would appreciate some expert guidence
