Painting?

Hi,
I would like to paint my living room in the same colour,would i be best painting it white first or just over the old paint,would the finish be any different.Thanks

Hi Michelle.
If it's the same colour hen no, just make sure its clean of dust, grease and cobwebs, as the paint don't cover these very well.
