my lawnmower drive is poor. when on concrete its slightly better but not great, is there a way to make the drive better?thanks

i bought a jcb 5.5hp mower last year and had the same problem if you look at the drive cable at the mower handle end it is cranked and what i done was to pull the cable up so it was sat further round on the crank which meant the cable was tighter which gave better drive
