i just checked there and i cannot see a small hole, cause i have a 1996 ford mondeo 2.0 ghia and nothing at all there ?

for early 96 open the glovebox and you will see a button with the spanner symbol on it, switch ignition on (not start) press button for 4 seconds symbol goes out, or on later 96 on the dash next to the spanner symbol will be a small hole again ignition on and with a suitable sized tool press through the hole for 4 seconds and it will put the symbol out
