Snapper 331415KVE

Recently purchased used Snapper Lawn Mower and cannot adjust cutting height. I moved the chains up and it lifted the rear of the mower deck. I turned the ecentric bolt on the left side of mower and it tilted the deck to the right. In the owners manual, they refer to, "Mower Deck Timing Rod Adjustment"...It appears as though this may be the adjusment I need to make.

If, so can you please concur and advise as to the proper steps to make adjustments?
