engine noise sounds like a ticking or budgies ?

I get a strange ticking noise from my engine, its more noisy as I excelerate as the ticking seems to get faster. There is no noise when the car has just been turned over and is stationary. This is a Peugeot 206 W reg

hi again or if it a chirpy noise could be just a vacume leak. thats air from inlet manifold? or your exhaust manifold blowing. or an injector seal gone without looking and hearing to narrow it down its hard.

ticking can be just the injectors or your cam is starting to go can you be more specific to the noise? is it on top of engine? across the engine? or is it in one place?
