I have tried to fix the fan elememt on my Baumatic built in oven. When i turned it on it switched off. Probably the fuse is blown. How can i check the fuse or what was the problem and how to fix it?

There are normally no fuses at the oven end. If the oven doesn't work at all, you have a short circuit and the fuse has blown in the consumer unit (if you have fuses) or the MCB has tripped out. You really need to get an electrician for this one if you are unsure of what you are doing.
