renault clio 05 oil change?

where is the oil drain plug and the oil filter on my clio 05 model?
RWF, June 2009
You need to take the driver's side front wheel off and pull back the plastic guard to reveal the drain plug and filter. It is a messy job because the plug is small and you cannot pull it away quickly enough once you have unscrewed it (a square key is required) which means that the oil surges over your hand! AND the filter is broken down to only replace the cardboard filter inside. Be very careful with screwing the plug back in and ensure that you only tighten it enough to get a good seal - if you overtighten it you may crack the sump around the plug hole - a common fault.
