Transmission went out how can I fix this one?

ihave a john deere 68 and i need to know how to fix the transmission? Have no forward or reverse. Its a five speed and I was mowing and all the sudden nothing.

i have checked the belts and still nothing

First, make sure that any belt drive from the engine to the transmission is still intact before going any further.
