I replace the pump filter but there is still white powder on my dishes?

Maytag MDB4100AWB Can/should I use CLR to disolve the residue or is there something else that should do first? Thank you.

make sure its not salt, as most machines can leak thro the seal around the cap, does your machine use alot

check to see if its heating the water during the wash and use the rinse aid even if using tablet soup
