McCulloch Petrol Strimmer TM 210?

How do I replace the cutting line on a McCulloch petrol strimmer TM 210?
Gwyn Cambridge, June 2009
How do I replace the throttle lever on my Mculloch 210 strimmer as I broke it

Phil, June 2010
Just had a thought Gwyn,if you are completely replacing the cutting line,it should come up through the hole in the top of the spool(The hole is about the same diameter as your cutting line)and be knotted to keep that end in place.Dont forget that the lugs on the spool should be at the bottom.Good luck!

Hi Gwyn, had that problem myself.Take off the black cap that is fitted to the green spool. Then,on the top face of the spool are two arrows pointing to the outside edge of the spool, these should(by twisting the spool clockwise) be lined up with the hole that the line comes out of.The spool should then lift off. When replacing the spool, line those two arrows up with the hole and twist the spool anti-clockwise about a quarter turn until the spool locks in place.Replace the black cap and you should be ready to go!
