Repair water damage to solid oak table, i.e. warping?

A vase full of water fell over during the night and has soaked through the table. The top of the table is now bulging. Is there anything we can do?

Let it dry out - be patient - probably best not to apply heat but a dehumidifier in the room might speed things up or a regular fan playing over it.
