The player is booting up and then the screen shows 'PLS CREATE LIB'. When this message shows none of the buttons work! What do we do?

Attach it to your p.c. Then go to My Computer and highlight iut. Right Click it and a box will appear . Goto FORMAT and format it. Another box will appear and ask if you really want to do it as data will be lost. Answer YES. Then format it. Disconnect from your p.c. Turn it on and you will be able to access the menu facility. Follow the instructions and goto CREATE LIB, BEFORE you put any music on to the thing.

Hopefully this should work,it did for my daughter. OH yeah when you format it you will lose all of the music you have put on,but all the operational info will be there. Good Luck

Can you connect it to a PC, and does it show up in Windows Exploder? There should be some folders, called "VOICE" "MUSIC" and "CONFIG" I think. You copy music to MUSIC. My son wiped his off and recreated these folders and it works ok, and I think it is the same model.
