c 180 merc?

how can you get a new key to work with out getting it programmed its a c180 merc 54 plate.. i got a key but it will not work

how can you not programme it? the key has a chip which pairs up with engine ecu, to unlock immobiliser. there is now way round it. you need to get it coded in.
