cord pull curtains won't close properly?

Hi, I've just installed a pair of cord drawn curtains, pulling on the cord closes them fine but pulling on the other cord, only 1 curtain opens right out and the other just part way, can you please help, thanks

I purchased these two items from you and I think I have made a big mistake ordering them in the corded versions. My problem appears to be when I attach the curtains to the overlap and underlap arms the weight of the curtains pull downwards and causes them to jam when operating in both directions (the curtains are lightweight bedroom ones only hanging to the window sill)

you havent looped the cord on the overlap arm just pull the one curtain to the middle wth the pull cord, then with help hold both the pull cords tight then pull by hand the other curtain till they meet. Then go behind rail locate overlap arm on the one you just drawn by hand and loop cord around cord lock or knot it..
