How can I remove the drum from a Belle cement mixer?

I have a Belle upright 140 series cement mixer, which I am attemping to remove the drum, without success so far. I have removed the rear oil housing to gain access to the ball bearing, which I have removed with a bearing press. The drum seems to be held on its shaft by a gear, which in inside the gear linkage housing. I would like to know how the gear is removed from the drum shaft. Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated.

yes the drums on these mixers ,unscrew, you can usally do by hand by jolting it anti clockwise, and it will unscrew from the shaft.

i only have a mini mix so i do not know if it is the same, i would ask belle direct, they are very helpful. but on the mini mix the drum is removed by wrapping a thick rope around the drum and pulling it against the direction of turn. the mini mix drums i have changed are fitted via a screw threaded shaft from the drive up into the base of the drum.
