my Beko dishwasher has stopped working when I push in the on/off button the?

my beko dishwasher has stopped working. when I push in the on/off button the machine starts making a noise before I have even selected a programme or pushed in the start/stop button. it doesnt seem to be taking in any water - can anyone help please

I had the same problem but found that if you push the button in slowly it will stop in and it works I have been doing this for the last 2 months

my dishwasher did the same - pull it out of its environment, tip it up a bit and put it back and then it works perfectly
