Kenwood Chef A703C resistor value?

There are 2 resistors in the motor control circuit. One is 220R in series with the triac gate and the other is burnt out so I need to know the value. The cap associated with it is 47nF and it has cracked but at least I can still read the value. Can anyone help?

Does anyone know the value of thr 2 capacitor on the bottom of the kenwood mixer model a703c please as they`re blown and I cant see them, cheer`s

I have recently followed the instructions to fit a 56 ohm 2 W res and replaced the 0.047 uF cap. The result is good. The unit is backing and working.

Thanks

I just picked one up that has exactly the same problem. Blown resistor and cap. Will replace with your recommended ones and see how it goes. Thanks for the info Tony :D

The resistor value is 56 ohm. Use min 1 watt but 2 watt is better. Should also replace the capacitor 0.047 uF at the same time.

Hi Jim,

I have the same problem. I have a Kenwood A703c which has a blown resistor. I can see 1 other resistors, which is Red, Red, brown and gold (220R I think).

Did you manage to fix your problem? If so, what was the resistor?

Matt
