I have an old indesit WI101 washing machine and it won't fill with water - it will run water through the prewash and fill but as soon as it gets to the main wash it immediately drains all water, and all water flowing through the soap dispenser drains immediately rather than filling the drum. It does this on all cycles at all temperature settings.
It also does it on all the rinse cycles.
It will spin the drum as normal on the spin cycles and rinse cycles.
