can the screen be repaired on my camera?

My camera, Samsung P1000, was dropped. The screen no longer works so i am not able to see what i'm taking pictures of. Does anyone know if it is able to be repaired?

you can get the screen repaired laura but mine was quoted at £150 And the camera was only £120 !!!!
