old singer not sewing ?

My old singer machine has stopped sewing. Checked that there is no cotton stuck in shuttle/bobbin area and nothing seems to be there, can turn wheel so far then just will go no further.

Hello Sue,
Chances are there is some thread stuck there somewhere, take the raceway out and see if the wheel will turn then.
