how do I remove the top on my Servis 8kg 1400AA?

The machine is not taking in the conditioner and I want to check the feed into the detergent tray.
I have undone the two retaining screws at the back of the machine but still cannot remove the top.

Aswell as the 2 screws on the back you have to remove the 2 retaining rods in the lid - these are the bolt like looking nuts at the corners of the lid also at the back. The lid will then lift off .
