Sam4s er380 Locked keys?

Just bought a second hand register. Some of the keys are locked (ie in down position). Does anyone know how to release them

If it is a stroke type keyboard (plastic keys rather than flat rubber) then the springs are probably missing. take it one out and compare to a working key.
