You are not familiar with ignition sytem checks and I'm not familiar with your model car. It may be the system is still wet.
But try [from experience]

1. Trace and remove the centre lead on the distributor to the coil or ignition module remove the lead and check the ends are dry and with a lint free cloth clean the module/coil terminal replace the lead then clean the distrubutor centre terminal before replacing that end of the lead. Try starting the engine.
No go! then goe to 2.

2. Check again for a spark not teaching something you know already, but so many have done it wrong I have to say.
Remove one plug replace it back on the lead and lay it on its side on a good earth point on the engine then whilst holding it with insulated pliers or a peice of wood [or you'll get a nasty shock] get someone to turn the engine over.
Alternatively use an in line tester with a clear window which show the lead is sparking.
Still not starting then
Go over all the high tension [Thick black leads [5] ] again.
But with the plug leads remove and replace these ONE AT A TIME OR YOU'LL MIX THE TIMING UP IF YOU PUT THE WRONG LEADS ON THE WRONG PLUGS AND COULD IF IT DID START DO SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

SPARK but still won't start may be water sucked into cylinders. Have chat with local VV dealership spares dept you'll find most are very helpful.

Confuse then let us know by posting on this site.

good luck Bob
