My Beko freezer is not cold enough?

I had a local engineer out to my freezer as it was not cold enough. Products were taking too long to freeze. The engineer believes the compressor has gone. Would this be correct & is it worth replacing a compressor?

Could well be a compressor issue.fitting a new one and regassing isn't really economical in todays world
