How do I fix a Diplomat halogen hob?
I recently moved and inherited a nice new Diplomat halogen hob, model ACA1213. It worked fine for the first few weeks and then the next time I switched it on nothing, no red halogen lamp no heat! Have I accidentally switched on a child lock, although there is nothing on the display to suggest I have? Or is there some kind of trip if it overheats? Or do I just need to call an engineer? By the way the cooker works fine.
