How can I fix my Royal 325cx register?

I bought this Royal325 cx cash register on e bay and when I plugged it in all I kept getting was an error beeping even after trying to program it somewhat. Now it doesn't come on at all. I have replaced batteries and unplugged it for a while. No luck. Its for my daughter to play store with and all she needs it for is adding.

Hve you opened the machine to check the fuse. If it is not the fuse then it could be the transformer.
