machine was working fine , went away ----came back to use again but no indicators on although plugged in and definitely power going to machine

The shredder will not run if the bin is full. Try to empty the bin and make sure the shredder is properly seated onto the bin. Apply lubrication oil according to Instruction manual.
The machine may not run if there is a paper jam. Clear the paper jam by putting the switch on Reverse cycle.
