MY AEG electric cooker FAN.
When I switch on the oven the FAN starts, when I switch off the oven the FAN stops. The FAN should keep going for a while to cool down the oven. The FAN does not keep going. Any ideas why please???
the fan in the back of the oven cavity is on or off directly related to you switching the oven on or off with the switch.the cooling fan which is mounted on the top of the oven cavity which will be hard to see unless you look through the front holes will only come on and work when the temperature has got to a set level and will stay on even if you switch the oven off with the control knobs until it has dropped below a set level.

is there a setting knob on yours that knocks the fan on and off , i have one on my bendix oven , its on the same knob for the small oven/ grill, thats on mine?
