i just put an after market induction kit on my ford fiesta 1998 R reg with AFM. what does AFM stand for? coz i have a pulg in the top of the old air box with no where to put it. is it importent?

Put the old air box back on and use a good quality filter. These induction kits are rubbish.
The cars computer needs to know how much air is flowing (among other things) to work out how much fuel to inject.
