WHERE ARE THE EARTH POINTS ON A Y REG FORD KA?

WHEN I BRAKE MY INDICATOR LIGHT COMES ON AND THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH FADE. SOMEONE HAS CHECKED THE EARTH IN THE BOOT BUT THE LIGHTS ARE STILL GOING CRAZY. SIMPLE ANSWERS PLEASE IM NOT GOOD WITH CARS!

check the multi-plug connected to the offside tail light. This is generally the cause of such problems in Ka's
notably Ka2 & luxury ka's. The plastic inbetween the connectors wears away leaving an open connection.

Fit new brake light bulbs. Make sure they are the correct size and are properly fitted.

the earth points are usuall somewhere near the lights, just unplug the lights and trace the cables back, the shortest ones will go to bodywork of car, undo these in a ccw direction and clean up the lug with a fine sandpaper, until shiny. It is indeed an earth fault.
