My Hotpoint is 5 months old and I moved this weekend and switched it on and it done it's cycle up until the drain part. The water stayed in the drum and the machine did not continue the cycle. I have checked the outlet pipe and it is are clear.

check the drain filter is not blocked. check the drain pump is clear and working.wires may have come off during the move
are you trying to connect to the sink u bend for the first time if yes will need to cut the spout off the u bend to allow water to be pumped into the u bend.
