how do i get my hedge trimmer to work?

my flymo sabre hedge trimm er will not cut hedges,the power is fine the connection is fine,the blades go back and forth,it just wont cut hedgse please help.(warranty is up)

I have the same problem, it is not blade sharpness that is the issue, anyone any thoughts?

Try sharpening the blades with a mini tool and grinding wheel attached
