e.m.l is on (flashing only) and the computer is telling me theres a miss fire on cylinder one. i've re newed the spark plugs and tried a new coil to number one, but light is still flashing and computer still telling me miss fire to cyl one. what else can i do ??? (before booking it in to renaults and spending lots of money)

i have a similar fault on my meganne i just recently bought from arnold clark, it has grdually got worse although it has a new coil on the clyinder this isnt always the problem they r also just as bad on fuel injectors im lucky because i have my warranty and happen to no a bit about renaults, but it could be that most likely is

hi mate,remember that on renaults number 1 cyl is at the gearbox end, and NOT AT THE timing belt end like other manufacturers.iv had alot to do with this paticular car and renaults in general. i look after 2 of these.
