my zanussi ds11 dishwasher was working perfectly then it would not turn off. the motor still is running and the water pumping in even if the switch is off. when i switch off at the mains then it goes off help!!!

Not sure of correct terminology but the machine thinks via a sensor that water is still in it, its trapped in a tray at the bottom, I found that there was a pipe on the front RHside going from top to bottom that had a small split in it, i fixed the pipe and dried the base section reassembled ran fine for 2 years, trouble is i think the repair has now split again so having to get new piece of pipe from ironmongers and start again.
