The system pressure should be 1 bar to 1.2 bar cold ie heating off, when heating is turned on the pressure will rise slightly perhaps to 1.5 to 1.8 bar but shouldn't really go past 2 bar, if it does your expansion vessel rear of boiler will want represurizing as over time the diaphram deflates.
